Redon drains

A redon drain is placed directly into surgical wounds by means of atrocar or other surgical instrument to perform wound drainage. A redon drain, with even, circular perforation provides many holes for drainage and permits the surgeon to cut the drain at even angles. Must be connected to a collection device.
